General terms and conditions

1. purpose of the organisation

social-engagement.ch is a brand of the Erlenhof | Zentrum. The aim of the social-engagement.ch brand is to provide information and framework conditions on the subject of the integration of people in special circumstances or to coordinate these in the form of standards (as a label).

social-engagement.ch clearly differentiates itself from personnel placement and hiring. The focus is on the voluntary contribution of commercial enterprises to the integration of people in special circumstances, who are assigned by a social practice organisation and cared for until they are eventually “released” from care processes (integration processes).

2. Scope of application

In principle, the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations apply. Since social-engagement.ch is merely an information platform for the coordination and standardisation of integration services of affiliated members, there is no actual direct trading of social-engagement.ch.

The integration service standards required to obtain the social-engagement.ch label are NOT a guarantee of successful integration. The label standards define basic requirements in order to increase the chances of integration and to enable the actors involved in it to have access to know-how, to a topic-specific network as well as to uniformly communicate the commitment with the value of the social-engagement.ch brand to relevant stakeholders as added value.

3. General provisions

In order to obtain the social-engagement.ch label, the participating actors undertake to implement and permanently integrate the standards defined by social-engagement.ch, each of which builds on the publicly communicated guidelines in a signed cooperation agreement. The degree of implementation is audited by social-engagement.ch in each case in order to guarantee the condition of participation. In the event of non-fulfilment, infringement or violation of ethical and moral principles as well as criminal offences by members, membership or the label may be withdrawn with immediate effect.

social-engagement.ch communicates its members on its homepage in the form of partner links and statistics of joint integration achievements. In addition, the commitments and corresponding best practices are presented to the social-engagement.ch network (password-protected forum) and the public (homepage and social media) in an internet blog. Publicly communicated contributions are always verified with the members before publication.

Members of social-engagement.ch can communicate their commitment and their membership to their stakeholders. Appropriate information material and social-engagement.ch logos are made available in the password-protected member area.

4. Compensation

Symbolic” compensation can be agreed upon for the implementation of integration programmes (maximum guidelines are the compensation of local internships for integration programmes and apprenticeship wages for vocational qualification programmes). These are agreed independently of social-engagement.ch by the economic partners (implementing agencies) and the social practice organisations (allocation and support agencies).

A one-time fee of 50 CHF (processing fee) and an annually recurring membership fee of 20 CHF are charged for participation in or acquisition of the “Social-Engagement” label. The finances collected by social-engagement.ch are used exclusively for the operation of the social-engagement.ch platform, the preparation of information on the platform and for the implementation of the label standards (consulting & management). For this purpose, social-engagement.ch may also engage in fundraising or accept donations.

5. Liability

Each party participating in the network or label of social-engagement.ch is liable for its own activities or the provision of services. social-engagement.ch assumes no liability for the activities of the participating parties.

Liability claims against social-engagement.ch are generally excluded unless gross negligence can be proven.

social-engagement.ch further assumes no liability for information provided by parties linked on the homepage (there is NO verification of information on linked pages).
