With the "Social-Engagement" label, companies (in cooperation with social practice organizations) assume their responsibility to support people in special life situations on their way to professional and social integration. The "Social-Engagement" label communicates sustainable social management through the concrete accompaniment and integration of people with special needs into everyday business life. This is an added value for the people concerned, for companies and for society.

A social responsibility label

Corporate social responsibility encompasses the voluntary contribution made by business to sustainable development, which goes beyond the legal requirements. In the area of social commitment, this means a company’s contribution to giving people in special circumstances a place in the company. In doing so, the companies are supported and accompanied by a social practice organization.

By integrating people in special circumstances, companies can make a valuable contribution to the sustainable development of society. A network with sustainability

The “Social-Engagement” label links companies with social practice organizations. The standards of the label form the organizational basis for successful integration processes. The label advises companies on how to integrate the label standards and provides know-how and information material for internal and external communication.

In cooperation with the event agency “DAS ZELT“, the “Swiss-Social-Engagement Award” is presented annually to honor outstanding commitment. The judging is carried out by the network of label partners themselves as well as by a selected committee from politics, business and social practice.

The label communicates the commitment of the companies in various channels, promotes their presence in public with events and media work, and connects the various players with each other. In this way, the label also creates a network that can create synergies among themselves through know-how.

Label background

Demographic change, migration movements, shortages of skilled workers and specialization are increasingly presenting us with social challenges. Finding a place in society is becoming a task for more and more people, which can only be solved through new approaches and the joint responsibility of all social actors.
